We're using Unreal 4.18 with all default settings. For our packaged game on a Mac the 'Saved' folder is not called 'Saved', because the Mac OS integration of Unreal is just different. The 'Saved' location that contains the user's ini files is: /Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/[game name]/MacNoEditor

The 'Saved' location that contains the user's ini files is: /Users/ username /Library/Preferences/ game name /MacNoEditor. For the Windows version of the game, where you got the game doesn't make any difference; the saves are stored in the same place, since they're NOT stored under Program Files. So chances are that the Mac saved games are all in the same place, too; find out where they are in any version of Mac and look there. Oct 17, 2011 Hello! I had Braid installed in my os x snow. Grogger, may be correct about the SaveGames location. We're not using that feature yet.

Jul 13, 2014 Mac OSX saved game file location? Solved Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it during my searches. Since there is no Steam Server Support for syncing game files, I need to find the saved game file. I would like to be able to use the game on multiple computers with the same characters, and I am using Mac OSX the non. Find a folder that says Paradox Interactive, then find Europa Universalis IV. In that folder there should be a folder called 'save games.' Use a usb drive or something to copy those saves and transfer them to the save location on the pc. The save location on the pc should be similar to the mac location.
Unreal Staff - if your reading this, please update the Mac documentation about these file locations.

Note: On Mac OS the Library folder in your home folder will be hidden by default. Use the Finder’s View Options command to make it visible.
Further Note: The ini files will not exist in that location until after the game is run for the first time.

P.S. If you think about it, the .app format is really a .rar compressed directory tree of files. Like Java .jar, .war, and .ear files - your executable is not allowed to write directly into the compressed directory structure. That is why a separate location is needed. The ../Library/Preferences/.. and ../Library/Application Support/.. locations are the Mac way of dealing with this issue.
