Dec 21, 2011 Longplay of 'Star Wars Trilogy' the popular and brilliant Sega arcade game / coin-op from 1998! Played via emulation on PC. MOST OF THE AUDIO HAS BEEN M. Sep 28, 2018 I am using a emulator called Supermodel on my Mac OS Mojave. It works 100% and it is one of my favorite arcade games of all times.
In this pretentious arthouse remake of the 1977 film, variations on the climactic sequence repeat over and over with minimal dialogue, while the black-and-white camera refuses to cut away from Luke's targeting computer.

Credit
Friedrich is credited in the opening scroll and the manual, but neither enumerates his responsibilities.
Compatibility
Neither of these contradictory messages is displayed, nor does the documentation say anything about the MultiFinder or RAM Cache. For what it's worth, cursory testing in an emulated System 6.0.8 showed no issues with either.

Game IntroductionEven though it's called 'Star Wars,' it's really set during 'Return of the Jedi.' Admiral Ackbar briefs you on missions leading up to the destruction of the second Death Star.Game PlayThe game is best with two players. One is the pilot, who controls the speed and direction of the vehicle; the pilot can only shoot the center of the screen. The other player is the gunner, who can target a much larger area on-screen.When playing a one-player game, you must be the pilot. There are four stages of gameplay. First, destroy a squadron of TIE Fighters in an asteroid field. Second, pilot your X-Wing through a Super Star Destroyer and destroy it by blowing up a reactor. You are rewarded with a 3-D cutscene showing the Star Destroyer exploding. Next, destroy a squadron of TIE Fighters on the surface of the Death Star. Finally, fly into the unfinished Death Star and blow it up it by destroying the main reactor. You are rewarded with another 3-D cutscene as well as two 2-D animations. MiscellaneousThe attract mode lists a copyright of 1993 for Sega, and a copyright of 1994 for Lucasfilm; the marquee and serial number tag both say 1994.VAPS Arcade/Coin-Op Star Wars Arcade CensusThere are 10,973 members of the Video Arcade Preservation Society / Vintage Arcade Preservation Society, 8,798 whom participate in our arcade census project of games owned, wanted, or for sale.
